I am starting a new journey into the radio frequencies. I have been using handy transceivers (HT) here and there for almost 20 years, with no interest to “make it my own”, so to speak. Recently however, there is a need to use it more frequently, and the more I study it, the deeper I got hooked.

As of July 2023, I got my first HT, the Quansheng UV-K5, which was soon followed by the Alinco DJ-CRX7. The UVK5 is my EDC, equipped with a stubby antenna (fake Diamond SRH805S) and the CRX7 is mated to a D Antenna RH77B.
